We are pleased to announce that this Global Lecture will be presented by Martin Daunton, Emeritus Professor of History at the University of Cambridge.

As a distinguished British economic historian, Professor Daunton has extensively researched national finance, taxation systems, and global economic governance. He is highly acclaimed for his seminal work, Trusting Leviathan, in which he provided a sharp analysis of the correlation between state fiscal policy and public trust, effectively redefining the relationship between economic and political history.

Most recently, he has been continuing his prolific scholarly work with the publication of The Economic Government of the World, 1933–2023 (published in Korean as Power and Governance: Who Rules the World Economy?), offering profound insights into the global economic order.

As this is a rare opportunity to directly experience the wisdom of a world-renowned scholar, we look forward to your enthusiastic interest and participation. :)
